Who may be able to access Thriving Kids
Based on current published guidance, the program is intended for children with developmental concerns, delays and mild to moderate support needs. Final eligibility rules are set by government.
Age focus
Published material has focused on younger children, particularly in the early years, with the exact age settings to be confirmed as implementation detail is released.
Do you need a diagnosis?
The stated intent is to reduce reliance on a formal diagnosis to receive early help. This does not remove the value of assessment where a family and clinician think it is useful.
